The Veil between the World and UnWorld has grown thin over the passing centuries. Not a decade goes by without an unexplained event or seven. Down through time, three families have passed between them the secret guardianship of a very special book only known as the 'Guide'. The Guide enables not only protection from the evil beyond the Veil, but also special powers to the guardian to fight the tide of evil. And each day, the barriers tremble...
Olivia Wake lives the normal life of a college student, home for the holidays. She studies an average degree, she has the right amount of friends and just enough of a social life. She's rather smart, somewhat pretty and the usual fun you'd expect from a girl.
But when a package arrives from her Uncle, the brother of her father who also vanished mysteriously from their lives, Olivia doesn't quite realise the world she's about to enter...
